A great Open Day held at The Old Woolstore - 26 January 2026.
We had a very successful Open Day today at The Old Woolstore. Once again, the common sentiment was how much people loved the building and were thrilled that it will not only be forever owned by the Kingston Community but will be reactivated and reopened for everyone to enjoy. Not only will this provide ongoing financial assistance to our three beneficiaries, in perpetuity, it will also be great for locals, tourists, the Kingston SE economy and also to our local businesses. A big Australia Day Long Weekend!
It’s a big weekend supporting our local Kingston Community. Board members of the Kingston Community Foundation will be present at: The Kingston SE Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Market Day, Saturday 24 January, 9am - 1 pm, Kingston Town Hall and at the Kingston Community Foundation Open Day, Monday 26 January, 9.30 - 12pm, The Old Woolstore, 3 Hanson Street.
