At the Kingston Community Foundation, we wanted a logo that truly reflected our purpose, values, and connection to the Kingston community. As a locally registered not-for-profit organisation, it was important to us that our identity was developed right here in Kingston SE.
Designed Locally by JT Elements
We partnered with Julie Trenaman of JT Elements, a talented local designer, to bring our vision to life. Her approach was thoughtful and collaborative, resulting in a logo that beautifully encapsulates what the Kingston Community Foundation stands for.
The design combines elements that are deeply meaningful to our mission and the community we serve:
The Pillar & Backbone: The integration of the words "Kingston Community Foundation" into the pillar forming the backbone of the "K" symbolises our role as a vital support and driving force within the community. It also acknowledges our beneficiaries’ essential work in promoting health, advancing education and preserving history
The Waves: Inspired by Kingston’s coastal identity, the waves represent resilience, connection, and growth. They symbolise the ebb and flow of resources and our commitment to continuous community support.
The Leaf & Fingerprint: This element reflects both collaboration and individuality. Just as leaves draw energy to sustain a tree, the Foundation gathers resources to nurture the community. The fingerprint motif signifies the unique contributions of every donor and supporter.

Julie’s expertise and understanding of our vision led to a logo that feels genuinely representative of the Kingston Community Foundation. We are proud to have a visual identity that embodies our commitment to fostering growth, resilience, and connection within our community.
We thank Julie for her dedication and creativity and are excited to share this logo as a lasting symbol of our mission.
Stay tuned as we continue to build a brighter future for Kingston SE—together.
