Today, the held a most fabulous History High Tea at The Old Woolstore.

The first project of the Kingston Community Foundation is to acquire the Old Kingston Wool Store. How good will it be to have this amazing venue activated again!

The Old Wool Store, built by the Cooke Bros in 1867 and is the last surviving building from Kingston's maritime heyday.

By purchasing The Old Wool Store, we may have saved it from potential demolition and it will be owned by the Kingston Community, for the Kingston Community.

Once leased,  the property will provide an income stream to benefit three beneficiaries for many years:

- Kingston Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

- Kingston Community School Building Fund.

- Kingston SE Branch of the National Trust.

Thanks to those who made donations to the Kingston Community today.

If you too would like to donate (all donations are tax deductible), please head to our website or call in and see Suzanne at her office - Phil Hoffmann Travel Kingston SE
